Midwest Dairy Council is bringing together student leaders across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota for a three-state Fuel Up to Play 60 Summit on May 10 at the Salvation Army KROC Center in Omaha. More than 100 Fuel Up to Play 60 student leaders and their advisors from 13 schools will gather to celebrate their participation in Fuel Up to Play 60 and commitment to tackling childhood obesity. The Summit is designed to rally student leaders actively engaged in Fuel Up to Play 60, celebrate their accomplishments and begin planning for the upcoming school year. The day will include a conversation with a dairy farmer, physical fitness activities with Kansas City Chiefs mascot KC Wolf, a nutrition discussion with University of Nebraska-Lincoln dietitians and a motivational fitness talk with St. Louis Rams kicker Josh Brown.
