Six Midwest Schools Awarded Breakfast Grants from General Mills

General Mills Foodservice recently awarded grants up to $3,000 each to 39 K-12 schools, including six schools in Midwest Dairy’s area, through the National Dairy Council Fuel Up Breakfast Grant program. Funding was awarded to help schools build or expand their breakfast programs, such as breakfast in the classroom, grab-and-go kiosks and breakfast after first period. Congrats to Eisenhower Elementary in Hopkins, MN, Lakewood Elementary in Norwalk, IA, Lincoln High in Lincoln, NE, Meadow Lane Elementary in Lee’s Summit, MO, Summit Pointe Elementary in Kansas City, MO and Prairie Grove Middle in Prairie Grove, AR.  Their students will be ready this school year to Fuel Up to Play 60!
